The third special event in Pokémon Pokopia kicks off right now (April 19, 5:00 a.m. local time) and runs through April 26 (ends 4:59 a.m. local time).
Talk to Bulbasaur outside any Pokémon Center during the event window. He'll invite you to the jump rope mini-game. Time your presses (usually the R button) just before the vine rope hits the ground, and build long consecutive streaks for better rewards.

Key Details for Players
- Prerequisite: Finish the
Yawn Up a Stormrequest for Slowpoke in the Withered Wasteland if you haven’t already. - Solo vs Multiplayer: On your main island, only the host gets item rewards (highest jumper in the session gets bragging rights). On Cloud Islands, everyone can chase personal high scores, and the session winner claims the prizes.
- Rewards scale with streaks (cumulative; new items unlock at milestones):
- Early jumps: Leppa Berries, Honey, Star Pieces, Lost Relics
- Mid: Rainbow Feathers, Silver Feathers
- 51 jumps: Jump Rope Trophy (limited-time decorative item for your house)
- Higher streaks (
76+): PokéMetal and Rare PokéMetal (up to 40 Rare PokéMetal reported at max) - Pro tip: Many players say rhythm feels easier if you jump right as the rope hits the ground and kicks up dust. Practice daily since rewards refresh. Time travel forward can be used for early testing.
This event is shorter than the previous Hoppip one, so it’s worth grinding streaks while it’s live. Next up: Sableye event starts April 29 (exchange Red Crystal Fragments for new items and add Sableye to your Pokédex).
Recent Patch Notes (1.0.3 - April 9)
The latest stability update fixed several issues that were blocking progress:
- Pokémon habitats disappearing and breaking Pokédex search
- Getting stuck in Palette Town after Dream Island visits
- Dark screen glitches when changing locations or dates
- Construction projects not completing properly
- Controller vibration problems and Cloud Island creation errors
If you’ve run into any of these, update your game version first. This patch adds quality-of-life stability improvements rather than new content.
Community Buzz & Quick Tips
- Players are sharing Cloud Island visit tricks for better shopping and recipe/stamp hunting. Sites like
pokovisit.comare commonly used to hop to other islands and buy items through the PC. - Building momentum is still strong, with many players now focusing on humid or themed areas (cookie builds, temples, and more) after clearing core story progression.
- General reminder: keep habitats ready for seasonal Pokémon and new visitors. The cozy life-sim loop with Ditto transformations and crafting is still hooking a lot of players.

That’s the main pulse for April 18-19. Jump in, set new records with Bulbasaur, and keep building your perfect Poké paradise.
